Ben Shein is a personal chef who specializes in event catering. He launched ‘Food with Shein’ in 2005, offering a personal chef service for a variety of occasions, from intimate meals-for-two, through to large scale celebratory parties for local dignitaries.
After graduating from the California Culinary Academy with a degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts, he worked his way up from pantry chef, helping to cater large events such as the Great Chefs of Marin annual fundraiser, as well as working as Head Chef for private Yachts and Charter Boats in the Bay. He now serves the Bay Area alongside his wife and Event Manager, Jennie helping their clients create their dream event.
Qualified in nutrition, Ben works with some clients in his capacity as a personal chef, to review and manage their diet to assist with weight loss programs, or to help them manage their special dietary needs.
